Fillers (Radiesse, Restylane, Juvederm, Sculptra, etc)

Fillers

Dr. Clark performs injection of collagen and other "fillers" (Restylane, Radiesse, Sculptra and other injectables) for lip augmentation, to fill in depressions and certain facial wrinkles.

Restylane

Restylane is an FDA-approved facial filler. It is a synthetic gel composed of a chemical normally found in human soft tissues (hyaluronic acid).

Restylane is easily injected in the skin under local anesthesia. There is no skin test required prior to injection. It lasts from 6-12 months.

Dr. Clark has extensive experience with Restylane and primarily uses this filler for lip augmentation.

Radiesse

Radiesse is an FDA-approved filler, but is not FDA-approved for use in the face. It is a synthetic paste composed of a chemical normally found in human teeth and bone (hydroxyapatite).

Radiesse is easily injected in the skin under local anesthesia. There is no skin test required prior to injection. It lasts from 1-2 years.

Dr. Clark has extensive experience with Radiesse and primarily uses this filler for nasolabial folds (cheek-lip folds), marrionette lines (lines below the corners of the mouth), and to correct downturned corners of the mouth
